Meditation was first documented by the Vedas texts of India around 1500 B.C.E. and has spread throughout the world as an effective way to find peace in the mind, body and spirit. The scientific evidence supporting the positive effects meditation has on the brain and body is vast, but experiencing it is usually the only proof people need to understand the overall healing powers.
Guidance
There are countless ways to activate the healing benefits of meditation, so I don't feel bound to one particular style. Although I encourage finding a technique that works for you — seated, walking, mindful, chanting, etc. — when you’re beginning your meditation journey it is beneficial to try different modalities before settling on one with which you resonate. We can work together to assess your body and mind’s inclination and experiment with which style is best suited for you. I believe in empowering people to have a comfortable, consistent meditation practice in their lives, so we will work with your current lifestyle and meet your needs.
