peace through balance
As an introspective and intuitive person, healing work emerged naturally in my life after addressing my own imbalances. My studio and work are a reflection of this calling and years of dedication to a yoga and meditation practice. I focus on the clinical aspects of therapies offered to reach people turned off by the overtly ethereal language typically used. Although I am personally a spiritual person, I work to make all of my teachings accessible and applicable to any belief system. My travels through South America, India, Nepal and Southeast Asia have deeply influenced my thinking and I hope to provide a welcoming space to any and all seekers.
Shanti Healing
Understanding balance was a fundamental part of my own healing journey and I have discovered it to be a common theme with many others as well. I don’t believe in an unemotional or static state, but rather an internal peace found from the constant movement of life. It’s about adapting consciously to the unexpected changes life throws at us and responding verses reacting. Sometimes balance simply means testing the limits of yourself and knowing when to return to recover. In knowing your own center, you can find peace no matter how far your scales tip in either direction.
Why Cambodia?
I found myself in Cambodia for several months in 2011 and have considered it home since 2014, but to briefly answer this repeated question proves next to impossible. The palpable renaissance of artists, healers, musicians and writers here is a constant source of inspiration and I only hope to give as much as I receive. I have created a space in the temple town of Siem Reap to provide individual healing work for locals, foreign residents and travelers and would be happy to show rather than tell why I love this surprisingly random and extreme, yet gentle country.*
*I have since relocated to Charlottesville, VA and will be updating my information soon. Please contact me if you're in the US and in need of services.
